Dean began his early career in investment management with a leading City-based investment management organization. He specialised, as an analyst, in small high-growth UK equities and became Fund Manager for the institution’s UK Equity unitised fund. He was also responsible for the introduction and development of IT systems into the Front Office. Over the following years he became increasingly involved in IT and has specialised in the delivery of systems to meet business requirements in such areas as fund valuation, capital markets, corporate finance as well as general funds management.

Dean joined KEL Computing – a specialist software package vendor – as a Director. Whilst with KEL he was responsible for the redevelopment of their property valuation package.

A strong proponent of object-oriented architecture and component-based development Dean is currently providing consultancy services to one of Europe’s largest independent property managers in enterprise application integration.
