Richard has worked in the City financial sector for 18 years. During that time he has accumulated a wide knowledge of the operation of both buy- and sell-side financial institutions covering the full range of securities markets. His areas of expertise cover: Investment Management, Principal Bond Trading, Repo Trading, Futures and Options Trading, Gilt Market Making, Equity Market Making, Money Market Trading, Stockbroking and Retail Banking. He has a detailed knowledge of the accounting treatment of a wide variety of instruments and, in particular, for off-balance sheet assets.

Richard has successfully delivered data and systems integration projects covering both bespoke and packaged systems into front, middle and back-office environments for major City institutions. He has led the development of systems architectures covering traditional on-line transaction processing solutions as well as delivery into object-oriented platforms.

Richard is currently providing outsourcing consultancy and business analysis services to the Investment Management Sector.
